Meet our Fabulous Five!

Jeffrey & Kaiza Jones

Born and raised in Modesto, California, Jeffrey grew up loving fruits, veggies and most things plant based.  Although never earning a college degree he has been interested in health for most of his life. Despite some health challenges along the way, Jeff has read a lot of books on health and healthy living and has attended a multitude of health seminars over the years, always learning something new.

Jeff spent nearly 20 years working in Special Education and loved it even through the difficulties. Moving to Omak in September of 2016 and meeting Kaiza they developed a friendship that led to marriage in August 2018.

Along with a love for health Jeff has a passion for books that are life changing. They deal with topics on health, spiritually, children's moral and character-building, healthful cooking and more. Besides this he has come to love gardening and is learning about small scale farming.

Hiking, nature, the beach and gardening are just some activities that Jeff and Kaiza enjoy doing together.

A native of the area, Kaiza has been interested in health in various degrees since college when she realized food controlled her and not vice versa.  To remedy this, she went plant-based cold tofurky for a few years before relapsing to a "cheatin" vegan.  Shortly after marrying Jeff, they both returned to a plant-based lifestyle.

During Covid, she went back to school online and came out the other end a Master Certified Health and Wellness Coach.  Though not currently practicing, she still loves to help people wherever she can.  For several years, she was a Wellness Champion for her agency, the USDA NRCS, promoting health across the nation.  Half the year she bikes to work.

Both Jeff and Kaiza serve on the health ministry team for their church.  Hiking, nature, the beach and gardening are just some activities they enjoy doing together. They continue to attend a wide variety of health and wellness seminars.

Veronica Skelton

With a lifelong passion for natural remedies and whole-person wellness, I bring decades of hands-on experience in healthful living, lifestyle education, and plant-based nutrition. My journey began shortly after college, when I spent three months in Canada studying natural remedies and herbal surgery—an experience that laid the foundation for my commitment to healing the body through healthful living.

I have worked extensively in plant-based culinary settings that support preventive and restorative health. This includes catering nutritious vegan meals for Dr. Ray Foster’s 10-day health seminars, as well as serving as the primary cook for John Skeete and his school in Wisconsin, where I provided healthful, balanced meals for students.

My work has also taken me internationally. I spent several months in Lithuania at 10- and 14-day lifestyle clinics serving patients from across Eastern Europe. While my primary role was massage therapy, I was also actively involved in patient care through juicing programs, exercise support, spiritual object lessons, and instruction in basic herbal remedies.

Currently, I work locally as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, where I integrate lifestyle education into patient care. I enjoy empowering individuals to adopt healthier habits and, when appropriate, incorporating natural remedies to support healing and overall well-being. My approach emphasizes practical, sustainable changes that help people care for their bodies with intention and respect.

David & Karen Pritchard

David was raised in Portland, OR and had been a landscaper for 37 years and a horse shoer for 30 years.  He has also been involved in preparing arenas at an equestrian center for events.  Now he is retired and enjoys year-round food from the garden.  Through his wife Karen, he became interested in promoting healthful living and practical knowledge of natural remedies.  He has attended HealthShare seminars and a variety of other healthful living and gardening classes.

Karen was born in Sacramento, CA but was raised in numerous states and countries as her father was in the military.  She has been a registered nurse for 40+ years, is now retired, and enjoys gardening, canning, freezing, and eating the preserved produce in winter.  She has had a huge interest in growing organic foods and learning about foraging, medicinal plants, and natural remedies.  She has attended the HealthShare Seminar in Hope B.C. the last two years and numerous other classes on gardening, foraging, medicinal plants, etc.  Karen is excited to be on board to help facilitate and start Live4Health so others can glean information on living with health and vitality and the use of natural remedies.  She lives with her husband David in the beautiful Okanogan Valley.

Both David and Karen, along with their son-in-law Jeff and daughter Kaiza, have also been actively involved in literature evangelism for 5 years.  The repertoire of books they sell include Health books, Natural Remedies, Plant based cookbooks, moral building children's books and spiritual books.
